Engagement photos for Gina & AJ at Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Gina booked this engagement photoshoot 6 months in advance because she wanted to make sure I was available and that we got a good date! She threw out a couple of location ideas and let me pick, and ultimately I decided Garden of The Gods would be best for what they wanted! Everything happens for a reason, because it turned out to be a special day there.
On the day of their photos, I drove into Colorado Springs extra early in the morning to go scout out some specific spots. The fog was SO BAD that I thought it was smoke coming in from the wildfires up in northern Colorado. I looked up the weather and it turns out it was just some wild fog. It was supposed to go away in the afternoon, and the pictures weren’t until 4, so I assumed we would be in the clear. Well, hours passed, and the fog only seemed to get heavier. You could barely see 20 feet ahead of you. I was a little worried that we wouldn’t be able to see all of those notorious features and points at Garden of The Gods, so I drove through a couple hours early. Turns out, the fog only made it prettier! I’ll let the pictures do the talking, but it was magical.
The second best thing – Myla, their Corgi. Gina joked that she would end up being the star of the show, and oh man she didn’t lie. She was the most well behaved little doggy model and wanted to be in every shot (a goal that she almost achieved.)
I’ll stop talking now and let you go look for yourself.
