Hi! I'm HAyley
Think of me as your photography inclined hiking buddy. Whether it's a couple session or an elopement, my ultimate intention is to capture natural and candid moments with an artistic eye. I'll give you prompts when needed that make you move in a way that evokes real emotion - some times making you cry, sometimes makes you laugh! I'm a firm believer that photos should be FUN and portray your real personalities. Not to brag, but after every session, couples always say "that was actually so much fun!" Even the dudes who were dreading it.
Documenting people's lives is such an honor, and nothing brings me greater joy than creating an incredible experience for you! I just want to take you to a breathtaking place that isn't crawling with other people so that we can have privacy, create our own adventure, and capture your love along the way. It''s really that simple! It's double the fun if you bring a dog.

As far as editing goes, I try to keep things as natural as possible! I don't want your photos to go out of style next year, or for you to look back when you're old and gray and think "what were we thinking?" I keep the colors true to life when I edit, and really just aim to enhance that! I also LOVE a good black and white photo. If I had to keep it short and sweet, I'd say my editing style is natural with a punch of contrast.

- I will always drive further for a less crowded hike
- I have a majorrrrr sweet tooth
- I hate large groups of people and huge social gatherings (2020 quarantine was a dream for me)
- I believe where there's a will, theres a way and everything happens for a reason
- My drink of choice will always be water. Oh, unless it's alcohol, then it's red wine or a sour beer.

Listen. If yall are looking for a photographer who is going to make a significant and positive impact on your wedding day, look no more because Hayley is your pick. On top of being immensely talented at what she does, she is deeply invested to make the experience as perfect as possible. That includes scaling a charred tree barefooted and hanging from a branch to get the shot. That includes doubling as the hair and makeup stylist when the original one calls in sick. It also includes her perfectly planning and capturing first-looks and private vows regardless of how much the groom was crying and unable to speak. It also means being incredibly patient with our 2 dogs who refused to be anything but absolute nightmares. Hayley planned the entire day of our wedding because, if not, no one else would do it. We were all hanging on by a thin thread and Hayley was there to make sure we looked the complete opposite. Her pictures were perfect. Her professionalism was outstanding. Everyone at the wedding has since spoke so highly of the interactions they had with her, and everyone was left speechless after seeing some of her sneak-peek pictures. If you’re planning a small, intimate wedding in the mountains, there is no one that will be able to capture your day as well as her. She is a team player but knows when to take charge. She must read farmers almanacs in her spare time because it was uncanny how she was able to precisely plan our wedding around the setting sun. It was beautiful. We were beautiful. And it was all because of her. It’s a gift we couldn’t thank her for enough.

I'm truly the person who loves being home snuggled up with my dogs, as much as I love being outside hiking a mountain. Nothing soothes my soul more than warm sunshine on my skin and a deep breath of crisp mountain air. I've learned to value experiences over things and am on a journey to live a more minimal lifestyle because I know it's people and beautiful places that make me the happiest, not a closet full of clothes. I truly believe life should be fun and I don't take anything too seriously. I'm a super laid back and easy going person, but when it comes to photography, I'm a perfectionist, and the teeny tiny boss inside of me comes out to make sure you get the most PERFECT photos.
