Dani & Bronson eloped at Lake Isabelle in the Indian Peaks Wilderness of Colorado.
Dani & Bronson wanted their elopement day to be unique to them, but still include some traditional elements, and I’d say they nailed it. Their elopement was one of the most peaceful, beautiful, stress free elopement days I’ve ever been a part of.
They chose Lake Isabelle in Colorado for their elopement because it was special to them. It was a hike they’ve done many times before, and one that they have shared with many friends and family. It just felt right.
Their elopement day started with unloaded all of their things out of their car, hooking their gear onto their backpacks, and lacing up their hiking shoes. We had about a two mile hike up to the lake where they would actually elope. Once there, they got ready in a wedding suite of pine trees and got ready for their first look.
They said their vows in privacy right in front of the lake. Even though this is a popular Colorado hike, we were alone the entire time. The whole lake all to ourselves – a true elopement day miracle. Afterwards, we took portraits around the lake and had some celebratory champagne before heading down to another spot to do their first dance. Their first dance was at a stream with the mountains as their backdrop. Once done, we hiked back down and had their wedding cake in the parking lot atop their YETI cooler. It truly could not have been a more perfect elopement.
Lastly, we went back to their hotel and took some fun photos to end out their elopement day. They ate pizza in bed and took some pictures down at the bar. I’ll quit describing everything and just let you scroll through the photos below yourself 😉
