Ever since I first visited this place a couple years back, I have been DYING to photograph a couple here. My friend Annie and I were visiting Bailey, Colorado for the first time and staying in a friend’s cabin. We wanted to go on a hike, so we pulled up all trails to see what was near us, it turned out this sweet little gem was just minutes down the road. I remember getting to the very top and just being in complete awe. I don’t know why exactly, but to this day, this place brings me such an overwhelming sense of peace. I think it’s because there are 360 views for as far as the eye can see, and it makes all of your problems feel oh so small.
So anyway, finally two years later, Jaylyn & Aaron let me pick the location for the engagement photoshoot, and I finally got to whip this location out of my toolbelt. We met at 6am in the dark and started our trek up the mountain – all of us in parkas, beanies, and gloves. The top was cold, but the sunrise was worth it, and the wind was favorable for her flowy dress. I think you’ll agree by the end that it did not disappoint. This sunrise session was even better than I imagined.
I WANT AN ADVENTURE LIKE THIS!
